STUDIO TERMS & CONDITIONS
Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session, entering the premises, or utilizing any facilities at The Good Rehearsal Rooms LTD, you (the "Client") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
Please Note: These terms apply to the individual making the booking as well as all members of their ensemble, band, or party. It is the responsibility of the person booking the session to ensure all attendees are aware of and comply with these rules.
1. Bookings & Services

Discretionary Booking: All bookings are made at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a booking for any reason.

Confirmation: A booking is only finalized once a confirmation email has been sent.

Pricing: Room hire costs and equipment rental prices are subject to change without notice.

The "Room Setup Service": For a flat fee of £5, our team will pre-configure your space (e.g., drum setup, specific mics, amp selection) before you arrive.

Note: This service covers the setup only. It does not include packing down the room at the end of the session.

Short-Notice Enquiries: Same-day or next-day booking enquiries cannot be guaranteed due to staff allocation.

The 24-Hour Rule: You may edit or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your session start time.
2. Payment & Outstanding Balances

Standard Payment: Payment must be made on arrival at the premises via Cash or Card.

Long Sessions / Block Bookings: Any booking totaling more than 5 hours (whether as a single session or combined sessions) must be paid for in advance via payment link, invoice or any other method provided to the Client.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If a booking is cancelled 24 hours or less before the session start time, or if no one attends a pre-booked session, the full room hire amount remains due.

Suspension of Service: Failure to settle outstanding balances will result in a temporary suspension of new bookings for the individual responsible and any associated ensembles/bands they perform in.
3. Alcohol & Licensed Premises Policy

No Outside Alcohol: Per our Premises License Agreement with the local council, no off-site alcohol is permitted. All beverages must be purchased from our on-site bar.

Challenge 25: Valid photo ID (Passport/Driving License) is required for those who look under 25.

Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any individual we deem unfit.

Conduct: Anyone overly intoxicated or bringing outside alcohol onto the site may be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
4. Equipment & On-Site Hires

Return Policy: All rented equipment—whether complimentary or paid for—must be returned to the front desk at the conclusion of the session.

On-Site Only: All hired/borrowed equipment is for use at the premises only and cannot be taken off-site under any circumstances.

Availability: Hires are subject to individual charges and availability. See our "On Site Hire" page for current rates.
5. Studio Etiquette & Room Reset

Room State: Regardless of whether you paid for a setup service, clients must return the studio to its original state (backline reset, trash binned) by the end of their slot.

Damage: The booking party is responsible for any damage to the facility or gear. Please report any pre-existing issues to staff at the start of your session.
6. Safety, Security & CCTV

CCTV Surveillance: 24-hour CCTV recording is in operation in all rehearsal rooms and across the external premises.

Data Retention: CCTV data is stored for 3 months from the date of recording before being overwritten.

Parking & Vehicle Liability: Vehicles and their contents are left in our car park entirely at the owner’s risk. The Good Rehearsal Rooms accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to cars or equipment left in the car park.

Internal Liability: We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left unattended inside the premises.
